The Newsletter - Issue 16
First off,
sorry that this week's newsletter is a few hours late. I've been
banging away on a new project, and I didn't notice the time slip by.
Earlier today, I saw a quote from Jeff Bezos (founder of Amazon) "If
you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that.
Word of mouth is very powerful."
I believe this is something you must always consider in your
infopreneur business. When you provide your customers with great
information, when it helps them solve a problem ... satisfy a wish ...
attain a dream, they are sure to tell their friends about it. That's
what people do -- they tell their friends about great restaurants, they
tell them about great movies, they tell them about wonderful vacation
spots ... they tell them about fantastic sources of information. Be
that source.
PROMOTING
YOUR BACK END
Last week,
we
looked at creating back-end products for your customers -- bigger,
better products to sell them after they bought your $7 report, or other
front end.
So, how do you promote these back-end products?
TELL
YOUR LIST, OF COURSE
Obviously,
when you create a new product, you'll tell your list all about it.
After all, it may just be the solution some members have been waiting
for. Always remember, you're not just making money off your list --
you're helping them.
But, what about those new members? The ones who join your list after
you've launched a new product. How will they find out about it?
PUT
A LINK IN YOUR SERIES
You set up
an e-mail series, using "Recipe For Delivering Your Own Popular
Newsletter":
http://recipefornewsletter.com
When you develop a new product, see if there is a way to insert it into
your series. For example: If you have an e-mail series of healthy
eating tips -- and you create a new e-book full of healthy breakfast
recipes from around the world. The tip that talks about the importance
of always eating breakfast, is a great place to insert a link to your
new book. Add a line like, "Here's a whole year's worth of delicious
and healthy breakfasts from all around the world:" -- with your URL.
LEAD
TO BACK ENDS FROM YOUR REPORT
Since $7
reports only cover one topic, they often lead readers to wanting to
discover more. So, be sure you supply that more with links
strategically placed in your report.
When you write about a certain part of your topic, you can let the
reader know that more in-depth information is available -- and give
them a link to your sales page. It's an invaluable service for your
readers, and it brings you back-end sales. Win-win situation.
At the end of your report, you can have a "Resource" section -- with
all the links you peppered through your report. Another great service,
and another place to make a sale.
HOW'S
YOUR INFOPRENEUR BUSINESS GROWING?
I've seen
some great work done by Product Creation Labs readers over these last
few weeks. Some great reports have been hitting the virtual book
shelves.
How's yours coming along? Are you building your infopreneur business?
If you haven't grabbed your copy of "Recipe For Success With $7

NEXT
WEEK
In the
next
issue, I'll be going over a case study with you. You'll see how quickly
a $7 report really can be put together -- and how easy it can be.
Until then, I hope you're having a great week and enjoying some of the
pre-summer sunshine,

Get On Track To Success
Get
your own copy of Product Creation Labs Newsletter delivered directly to
your inbox every Friday.
I subscribe to a lot of IM
newsletters, from the big name gurus, to the little gurus, to the wanna
be gurus…and there are few that I actually read.
I
do actually open and read Kevin Riley's Product Creation Labs
newsletter, because he provides honest reviews of products, provides
great marketing tips, and recommends quality products. There
is a lot of noise out there in the IM world, and Kevin provides me and
my internet business with something different - honesty and clear
direction for building an online business.
Thanks
Kevin for the courage to be different by simply providing what most of
us are looking for online - integrity.

If I have a complaint, it's only that I wish the PCL newsletter came

Here's
what I like
about PCL newsletters - I always get something of value in them. So, I
am careful not to EVER delete one without reading it (something that I
cannot say for alot of the stuff my inbox gets inundated with).
Besides, you never bore me, Kevin.
