The Newsletter - Issue 14

Next week, is Golden Week here in Japan. This is a collection of four different holidays -- all within the span of one week. For many Japanese workers, this will be the longest holiday they have all year -- it's also the only one where hard-working salarymen don't have to visit with family -- therefore, it's a truly golden week for them.

Golden Week is one of the busiest holidays and the roads will be jam-packed, flights will be over-booked, lines will snake around the block. I make it a practice not to go anywhere in Golden Week. Just stay home and celebrate not being a poor, enslaved salaryman.

I will do some work on writing an e-book. Which brings me to this week's topic:

ARE E-BOOKS HOT OR NOT?

So many e-books have been published, it sometimes seems like they would lose their value (especially, when you see some of the substandard stuff being peddled for a penny on eBay).

But, done right, writing e-books is a great way to create a fantastic income. If anything, e-books are getting even hotter.

You've just gotta make sure you research your market well. I cannot stress enough the importance of this. You want to find a market that is actively buying e-books. Some of the best general markets for this are Internet marketing, finance, small business, health and fitness, relationships, self-help, hobbies (the popular ones) -- and the kind of e-books that are hot are how-to books.

You need to write an e-book that covers something in high demand. Give it a hot title that compels people to buy, with a strong benefit.

AREN'T ALL THE SUBJECTS ALREADY WRITTEN ABOUT?

You can find a book on just about anything you can imagine. But, you can still write another book on that exact same subject -- and have it become a hot seller.

How? Make it different. Put your own twist on it. Treat the topic in your own unique way.

E-BOOKS ARE A GOOD START

You can still write a hot e-book, and use it to bring customers into your business. But, it is not the be all and end all of your marketing effort. You want to progress your customers from buying your e-book to buying more expensive back-end products (something I'll be examining in next week's Issue).

ARE YOU GONNA COOK UP A REAL BUSINESS WITH THOSE RECIPES?

You've been going through my recipes. I hope you are starting to put them to use. I've seen a few great reports already -- created using "Recipe For Quick And Easy Product Creation" (http://recipeforproductcreation.com) as a guide. A few sales letters that were crafted with the "Recipe For Hot-Selling Sales Letters" (http://recipeforsalesletters.com). And, I saw Tim Carter's experiment with my "Recipe For Driving Heavy Traffic To Your Sales Page"(http://recipefortraffic.com) -- where he saw his traffic more than triple.

Now ... you need to get serious about building a real business around your $7 reports. Earlier this week, I released the full Recipe (some have dubbed it a cookbook) to do just that. "Recipe For Success With $7 Secrets" takes you through each step of building your successful infopreneur business - starting with $7 reports and working your way up to a high-ticket back-end product.

NEXT WEEK

As Golden Week nears its end, I'll be going over some ideas for building a profitable back-end in your infopreneur business. Have a great Golden Week,
